There are cabins and houses that cannot be seen but are still close enough that you could cause harm or death. Gun and archery shooting is strictly prohibited on the property. Tents are not permitted without prior approval. If you will be traveling with your pet please be sure to add pets to your booking. PLEASE NOTE: Maximum occupancy is 6 people. Four kayaks are provided for guest use (kayaks are not available late fall & winter months). Enjoy Roku TV and free WIFI during your stay. The cottage is thoroughly cleaned between each guest and fresh linens, towels, and wash cloths are provided. (Guest provide their own charcoal) The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, microwave, coffeemaker (capable of full pot or K-cup), crockpot, blender. Your stay includes firewood for the fire pit, and Duraflame logs for the fireplace (do not use firewood in the fireplace). Weis markets in Mifflinburg and L&L marketplace in Middleburg are close grocery stores to stock up on food. Winter State Park, Hershey Park, Knoebels Amusement Resort, Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, Pine Creek Rail Trail, Gettysburg National Park, antique shopping, Penn State University, Bucknell University, Susquehanna University, golf courses, many great restaurants close by, and much more. If you are seeking entertainment be sure to visit the many wineries the area has to offer, Penns Creek Pottery, T&D's Cats of the World, Clyde Peelings Reptile Land, Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park, Raymond B. This fly fishing hot spot is only a few miles upstream. Trout fishermen, don't miss the Green Drake Hatch in late May or early June. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, hiking, and hunting the state game lands, The Buffalo Valley Rail Trail, Mifflinburg trail head is about 5 miles away if you enjoy biking. While you are enjoying the view and listening to the water you'll want to watch for the abundant wildlife such as Bald Eagles, herons, ducks, geese, deer, and more. You can also enjoy the view while while lounging around the fire pit. This charming waterfront cottage is tucked in along Penns Creek with a stunning view of the creek from the living room and screened in front porch.
